Lead Mines Clough - Plenty of willow warbler about. Small party of goldfinch. Whitethroat singing. Several goldcrest in the pines. Grey wagtail.
Farm track to Simms - Curlew and Lapwing on territory. Adult and juv Stonechat. Mistle Thrush. Small flock of common redpoll. Plenty of mipits.
Standing Stones Hill - Quite a few skylark, hard to count.
Counting Hill - Gropper reeling.
Burnt pine woods - Fox. Lots (15+) pheasants in the fields back to lead mines, including a mainly black one.
