Hic Bibi butterflies

Dozens of Common Blue butterflies. 2 Small Copper. A few Azure and a few Large Red Damselflies.
One only Blue Tailed Damselfly (seen by Peter Gravett)

The spring generation of the Common Blue is doing well. Large numbers seen at Ellerbeck over the last week

After the rain the sun came out and so did the Butterflies. Interesting to watch a pair of Common blue Butterflies copulating today. Still lots of Common Blues and a few Small Whites, Green veined and Speckled Wood. Birds seen and heard. 2 Chiffchaffs. Blackbirds. 1 Songthrush. Goldfinch. Chaffinch. Dunnock. Whitethroat. Blackcap. Buzzard. Magpies. Woodpigeon. Collared Dove and a few Swallows.
