On Top Lodge, the mute swan family was hidden in the reeds, from which 2 Reed Warblers and a Reed Bunting were singing.
On Big Lodge, a pair of Coot had 6 young out on the water, and a female mallard had 7 chicks. The new pair of swans was still incubating as was Great Crested Grebe. 3 or 4 Blackcap were singing and a Grey Wagtail was on the water's edge.
