Walk today 1200 to 1400hrs. (saw John F's post yesterday, possibly saw/heard some of the same birds!)

Birds seen/heard: Wren, Chaffinch, Great Tit, Mistle Thrush, Woodpigeon, Blackbird, Carrion Crow, Goldfinch, Whitethroat (2), Skylark, Robin, 2 Yellowhammer singing, Lapwing with 2 chicks in field near pylons - men working on the pylons, Pheasant, Oystercatcher (1), Kestrel (m), Sedge Warbler (2), Linnet (2), Mallard, Reed Bunting, Magpie, Chiffchaff, Buzzard.
By the bridge - Swallows feeding, several Mallard on river, 7 Shelduck, Canada Geese, Moorhen with chicks.

PM to Neil on other raptor activity

I'm slowly working my way up to 100 sp (94 - I think...hopeless lister...)

Report on Ribble Estuary Facebook site by Lindsay Beaton of 7 young Shelduck at Red Bridge on Sollom? Lane. I assume she means Lock Lane / Eyes Lane?
