Lead Mines Clough > Holts Flat > Hempshaws > Sam Pasture > Smms > Lead Mines Clough. Nice to meet Paul Hodson at the waterfall at the top of Lead Mines Valley, great evening to be out and a super spot to chat for a while. Hoped for Gropper / Cuckoo, got neither but still fun.

Grey Wagtail on Limestone Brook. Willow Warbler abundant, Goldcrest in a couple of spots on Lead Mines Valley, Pheasant everywhere (8+), small flock of Greenfinch over. Red Grouse. Curlew in display flight over Hempshaws (approx 4). 2 Lapwing also in display flight. Common Redpoll over. Small flock of 6 or so Linnet in the plantation N of Hempshaws. Wheatear on Green Withins Brook dry stone wall.
