Blackbird, Greenfinch, Robin, House Martin, Wren, Chaffinch, Sparrow including a couple of fledglings.
Mallard families doing well - family with 4 ducklings on main canal, 2 families with 3 and 4 respectively on redundant canal section.
Lots of Blackcap all around, Magpie, Pheasant, Carrion Crow, Jay, Jackdaw, 12 Starling, Goldcrest in at least 3 locations, Song Thrush, Great / Blue / LT Tit in abundance, Woodpigeon, Lapwing (single over), Chiffchaff (several), Grey Wagtail (1 on Lostock, 1 on redundant canal), Dunnock, Reed Warbler, Heron over, Canada Geese family with 4 goslings. Goldfinch.
Mammals - plenty of molehills, plenty of rabbits, some juvs (not newborn), brown rat.
Plants - Field Poppy, Forget-me-Not, Field Buttercup, Hemlock Water Dropwort, Cow Parsley, Garlic Mustard, Burdock, Red Campion, Butterbur, Cleavers, Bugle, Cuckooflower, Ground Elder.
