Belmont Reservoir

Female Teal flew from north end of Belmont Reservoir to the small pool on opposite side of road about 8pm.

Also 3 Snipe, 3 Common Sandpiper, 2 Redshank, 2 Oystercatcher, 1 Curlew, 1 Great Crested Grebe and several juvenile BH Gulls in the colony. Greylag Geese with goslings too.

Calling Cuckoo and Tawny Owl at the top of Well Lane, Brinscall after 930pm. 2 Red Grouse, Curlew and plenty of Skylark and Meadow Pipit on the moors earlier.
