White Coppice to Roddlesworth

Walk from White Coppice to Roddlesworth via Great Hill.

White Coppice.
Grey Wagtail 2.

Great Hill/Moors.
Curlew 3/4. Skylark c10. Meadow Pipit c20. Pair of Stonechat and 2 juveniles at Great Hill farm.
Grasshopper Warblers reeling at Drinkwaters and Great Hill farm. Willow Warbler 3/4 at Great Hill farm. Reed Bunting 2.

Hollinshead Hall,
Several Willow Warbler. Blackcap 2. Lesser Redpoll. Mistle Thrush.

Roddlesworth.
Mallard 8. Moorhen. Canada Goose 2 with 4 goslings. Dipper 2. Grey Wagtail. Pied Wagtail. Great spotted Woodpecker 2. Nuthatch. Blackcap. Chiffchaff 5/6. Jackdaw 12. Mistle Thrush 2. House Martin c15. Swallow 4. Swift 5.

Heatherlea woods.
Cuckoo heard. juvenile Grey Wagtail on the Goit. Goldcrest. Greenfinch.

Cuckoo heard tonight 9.15pm on Heapey 8 dried up lodge, plus plenty Willow Warbler and several Reed Bunting.
