In the garden on Sunday 12th May, possible Fairy Green Longhorn Moth.
Over garden last night - 1 Pipistrelle Bat feeding.
Over garden tonight - 3 House Martin feeding.

On former quarry tonight - 2 Sedge Warbler and 1 Reed Bunting singing. Chrysalis of Burnet Moth seen and Ragged Robin flower seen.

Not too far away -in overgrown cutting, chiffchaff and willow warbler singing regularly.
Noted before but still pleasing -many more greenfinches in evidence than in recent years-at least two singing males on the estate.
Another with many more sightings this year is starling -up to 15 adults in garden feeding on fat-balls.
