White Coppice.
Chiffchaff 3. Willow Warbler everywhere. Common Whitethroat. Garden Warbler 2. Reed Bunting 2. Goldcrest. Family party of Long tailed Tits. Lesser Redpoll 2/3. Nuthatch 2. Stonechat. Dipper. Buzzard. Kestrel.

Butterflies. Peacock 2. Brimstone.

Heatherlea woods/Well Lane.
Goldcrest. Chiffchaff 3/4. Several Willow Warbler. Blackcap 3. Wheatear. Curlew.

Butterflies. Speckled Wood 10+. Orange Tip 6+.

Great Hill/ moors.
Curlew 2. Meadow Pipit c20. Skylark 3. Reed Bunting 2. Wheatear 3. Pair of Stonechat feeding 2 fledglings. Red Grouse heard. Peregrine falcon overhead.

White Coppice. Much the same as Paul but a White Crow showed well near no6 Res. a Kestrel was mobbing a Buzzard, While I was stood on the bridge over the Goit near the cricket field a Sparrowhawk flew from east to west along the Goit.
