Glorious this morning 6.30 to 8am. Good to hear Goldcrest singing in the woods, just one Blackcap. Wren, Robin, Blackbird and Song Thrush only other birds singing or calling. Little Grebe on the lodge, Kingfisher on the river. GS Woodpecker, Mistle Thrush and Chiffchaff around the meadow. Back on the estate, 2 Swallow through, but only 2 pairs of House Martin seen. At least 4 groups of House Sparrow fledglings seen and 1 group of Starling.
