Friday afternoon Hic Bibi: Chiffchaff, Blackbird, Pheasant, Wren, Robin, Willow Warbler, Woodpigeon, Dunnock, Blackcap, Bullfinch, Mallard, Skylark over adjacent field, 2 Oystercatcher over, 2 Swift high and flying N, Blue Tit, Goldfinch, Great Tit, Jay, Grey Heron in pond, Garden Warbler seen briefly and heard near railway bridge, Magpie and Whitethroat. Several Greenfinches in gardens near entrance.

Today pm back at Hic Bibi to check again for Whimbrel in fields beyond the Railway - none seen, saw a Hare and Roe Deer. Other birds noted than Friday : Swallow, Lapwing in nearby field, Collard Dove, and Buzzard. Blackcap, Chiffchaff, Whitethroat, and Garden Warbler in similar locations on territory.

Today morning walk Brinscall to Waterman's Cottage and return: Grey Wagtail and Dipper at White Coppice. Saw Cuckoo being chased by a Warbler (probably Willow) opposite Stronsey Bank, Cuckoo heard later many times. Good close views of a pair Garden Warblers feeding next to Goit opposite Stronsey Bank. Redstart singing from edge of wood near Waterman's cottage/stables. Tree Pipit seen and heard - someone else to thank for that! Nice one.
Upped my Chorley sp to 90.
