Lower Burgh Meadow-Birkacre

12.15-1.00pm LBM: buzzard (3, 1 hassled by a kestrel), stock dove (3), willow warbler, chiffchaff, c whitethroat, blackcap, reed bunting. A reasonable sized fire has destroyed an area where sedge warbler could be expected.
Birkacre: Top Lodge water levels very high which will keep the waders at bay. Grey wagtail, reed warbler (singing and showing intermittently), reed bunting. Usuals on the main Lodge.

Reed warbler takes Chorley species total for the year to 117.
