Walking the fast growing puppy has been great for really exploring the lodge and surrounds on a twice daily basis. 3 Blackcaps singing and showing off near the river, Grey Wagtail pair looking settled. Canada Geese still on the lodge but no sign of Little Grebe or Mandarin these last few days. Willow Warblers still at either end of the wood. Potentially 3 different pairs of Nuthatch in the area, and a pair of Great Spotted Woodpecker.

Edit - Swallow just gone over the back garden.

10.50am edit... and now the first House Martin has returned onto the estate :-)

92 for the year.
