Late afternoon look for some spring migrants. Twin Lakes: herring & BH gull, only GC grebe on the water, buzzard (2), 30 to 40 each of sand and house martins hawking over the water and its environs, also 5/6 swallow, pied wagtail (14).

Wymott Pond/Prison area: not much about yet - lapwing (3), song thrush (3), blackcap (2), goldcrest (2), chiffchaff, several Gr - Bl - LT tit.

House & sand martin and swallow takes Chorley species total for the year to 107.
