Good views of 4 (3m/1f) *Ring Ouzel on slopes between George’s Lane and Royston Lane about 715am with 1 Fieldfare & 2 Wheatear. Also 16 Redpoll (11+4+1)
Then a further 5 (4m/1f) Ring Ouzel in fields by farm to the West of Belmont Reservoir at 830am with 1 Wheatear and 1 Mistle Thrush. Also 4 Brambling in larch/beech at south end.
At least 1 Brambling at Wards Reservoir.
Great Grey Shrike still below Great Hill at 1045am.
*1 more takes me to 110 species for the year.

Another Ring Ouzel morning (Sunday 14th) - with 3 male Ring Ouzel in the sheep fields below Belmont Road (Georges Lane), also 19 Magpies and 2 Lapwing in same field. 8 Lesser Redpoll, Robin, Wren, Chaffinch & Dunnock in small pine plantation, Woodpigeon, BH Gull and Carrion Crow over. Several Meadow Pipits near Roynton Lane.
