12.15-1.00pm: buzzard, kestrel, mallard (2) on one of the pools, curlew (heard), lapwing, jay, skylark, treecreeper (2 calling), bullfinch (m), greenfinch (pr), chiffchaff (5+), willow warbler, blackcap, willow tit.

Lepidoptera: peacock, speckled wood, brimstone.

Willow warbler takes Chorley species total for the year to 103.

11-12a.m

butterflies -same as Neville
bees buff-tailed, red tailed queen also bee fly

additional birds- female pheasant,male yellow hammer,gold finches,buzzard(h),sky lark(h)

Newts- dont know what species but saw at least 6 from one pond edge spot(the pond with lots of water crowfoot in flower-also plenty unidable water beetles on surface and divers there)
