A helping hand.

Post by gary lilley »

Gathered some horse hair from down the fields in hope of attracting nesting birds in the garden within seconds of placing the hairs in the fork of a branch there was a female great tit ( with male singing nearby ) getting beak fulls of hair and flying off to a neighbours nest box also a dunnock seen collecting the hair :D .

I have 2 small redundant fat block cages which have been stuffed with wool and hanging on the rear garden wall.

Quite entertaining watching the coal tits and great tits helping themselves :D
