Rivington Road to Great Hill
After missing out on Winter Hill (lack of heather after last year’s fires) headed up from Rivington Road to Great Hill in search of Red Grouse. Much better habitat but the Grouse were noticeably quiet. However, whilst scanning the heather, a *Red Grouse head popped up and showed well. Skylark and Meadow Pipit singing.
