Duxbury Woods am.

R.Yarrow- 2 Pr.Mallard +3 (m), Grey wagtail, Grey Heron, At least 2 dippers

Woods- Flock of Wood pigeons (c20), Treecreeper, Nuthatch, Flock l.t.tits + goldcrest, 3 song thrushes, flock gt.tits, Coal tits, 2 blue tits,3 jays,
c6 magpies, G.S.Woodpecker(h. drumming),b'birds,robins,buzzard,2 carrion crows,

Fungi- Jelly ears,scarlet elf cups

Mammals- 4 Grey Squirrels

Flora- snow drops,opp.lvd.g.saxifrage,

What was the ground like, Lydia? Are wellies advisable?

I wore wellies. Definitely needed on golf club side of river. OK on the other side as long as stick to main path.
