A Great spotted Woodpecker and a pair of Bullfinches were year ticks for me, also 4 Yellowhammers, Song Thrush, 4 Fieldfare, 5 Redwings, 6 Mallards,
and 8 distant Canada Geese. A face to face encounter with a Fox on Friday took me by surprise so by the time I had reached my camera with my gloved hands it was 3 fields away! Though I did see it again about 5 minutes later and got some distant shots.
