Eyes Lane - Douglas - Croston Finney

7.15-10.30am: barn owl hunting around Red Bridge, then along the Douglas to Croston pumping station and then finally flying into a copse on the Finney. Also buzzard, cormorant (8), little egret, teal (50+), little grebe, GSW, woodpigeon (not the big numbers usually seen due to gun toting folk), stock dove (6), c snipe (16), fieldfare (15), small starling flocks, 2 golden plover among c.200 lapwing in frozen ploughed field between Douglas and A581, song thrush (2), pied wagtail, linnet (100's), corn bunting (20), reed bunting, tree sparrow (3) in old EA compound,

Barn owl, golden plover and tree sparrow takes Chorley year total to 85.
