A couple of hours on Finney Lane this afternoon. The main highlight was watching a Barn Owl skirting the lane. Also seen. a Little Egret flow past me very close to the path. Three Jays. Kestrel. Buzzard. Lots of Wood Pigeons. 20 Fieldfare, probably more. Starlings. collared Doves. Moorhen. Magpies. Robin. Dunnock. Several Reed Buntings. A count of 170 plus finches at the top of one tree, mostly Linnet and Goldfinch.
