Flock of +15 Lesser Redpolls feeding at the tops of trees in the northern end of the wood yesterday afternoon. Plus sight of 2 Roe Deer in the woods. saw a deer next to our house 3.45pm Friday afternoon, they have already eaten clematis shoots/violets from the front/side of our house - not so good for my wife and neighbours gardens, but a good garden tick for mammals...
I haven't started yet on a year list for birds see in Chorley. Must do better!
