Anglezarke Reservoir - 28 Mallard*, 1 Moorhen*, 1 GBB*, 15 BH Gull. Adjacent woods, Magpie, Blackbird, 2 Jay*, Chaffinch heard, large Tit flock containing 20+ birds including Great, Blue & Coal Tits, 3 Long Tailed Tit*, 2 Nuthatch*, 4 Redwing*.
High Bullough Reservoir - 7 Tufted Duck*, 2 Goldeneye (m& f)*, 8 Mallard, 1 Shoveler (male coming into breeding plumage)*.
With 10 new species plus a Goldcrest in my garden this morning and a Rook near the swimming baths, by Chorley Area species total is now 35.

The male shoveler at e shaped ponds was also not in full adult plumage Len maybe same bird ? .

Quite possibly Gary as John Frankland has been to the E shaped pond and not seen it.
