Most of the wildfowl was on top lodge this morning, presumably because there were several anglers on bottom lodge, where there were just 3 Coot and a Moorhen, and no sign of the swans. Top Lodge contained 16 Mallard, 22 Tufted Duck, 2 Goosander, 4 Moorhen and 35 BH Gull. Other birds were thin on the ground except for 100+ Woodpigeon and 30+ BH Gulls in a field opposite Primrose Cottage.
