Anglezarke

A rather atmospheric stroll over a very misty Anglezarke moor today, although the poor visibility meant that the only birds noted were a couple of Red Grouse calling on the moor and 2 Stonechat on Dean Black Brook.
A flock of 80+ finches were at Alance bridge, mainly Brambling ( at least 60, but they flew off as I was trying to count them ) the rest were Chaffinch.

Anglezarke Reservoir. Mallard c40. Moorhen. Cormorant 3. Black headed Gull c150. Lesser black backed Gull 2. Raven 2. Long tailed Tit 7.

High Bullough Reservoir. Mallard 22. Goldeneye 2. Tufted Duck 2. Moorhen 2.

White Coppice. Dipper 2 on the Goit. Mistle Thrush. Goosander 7 overhead.
