near to the douglas on the great close fields , there were 3 adults and 1 juv ( non appeared to be ringed ) they were directly under cables next to an upright , the small numbers spotted/ heard were , 1 whooper on the river along with a little grebe , 2 goosander , 10 mallard , buzzard , several skylark , several pheasnt , lots of linnet heard .A misty moss !

Poor viewing conditions this morning which no doubt was the main reason for finding 4 dead whooper swans near to the douglas on the great close fields , there were 3 adults and 1 juv ( non appeared to be ringed ) they were directly under cables next to an upright , the small numbers spotted/ heard were , 1 whooper on the river along with a little grebe , 2 goosander , 10 mallard , buzzard , several skylark , several pheasnt , lots of linnet heard .
