Eccleston knowles wood area .

Plenty of birds around today , at first light 100+ jackdaw passed through at speed low over the tree tops they were uttering a contact call to each which ive never heard before ( similar to the mandarin duck call) the jackdaws were seen again on their return journey at dusk this time at a much greater height also seen flocks of bh gulls , starlings and redwings , several blackbirds , 12 pied wagtail , 2 robin , 1 mistle thrush , 1 gs pecker , 1 nuthatch , heard meadow pipit and bullfinch , a sparrowhawk disturbed the starlings and thrushes , 2 coal tits , 2 great tits , 2 heron , around 50 woodpigeon at dusk, 2 high flying waders heading southwest were probably golden plovers , 1 buzzard .
