Chorley Cemetery

Birds seen/heard - Woodpigeon, 1 Mistle Thrush, 1 Blackbird, Goldcrest heard, 3 Jay, 5 Magpie, 1 Common Buzzard, GSW heard, Nuthatch heard.

Mammals - 3 Grey Squirrel

Fungi - Yellowing Knight, Glistening Inkcap, Trooping Funnel and Common Funnel.

Insects - A large Bumblebee (a queen?) was seen.

Millfield Road

Approx 20 House Sparrow seen in one hedge, a thrush was seen over and doubled back twice (either Song Thrush or Redwing).

Astley Road

Plenty of Mountain Ash laden with berries. In one was perched a male Sparrowhawk.

Eaves Lane Friday

Sparrowhawk flying parallel to road at rooftop level.

Standish Street area

A flock of 30 + passerines in flight could have been Goldfinch.
