Anglezarke

Post by Paul Hodson »

Very windy on the moors this morning, apart from a couple of Carrion Crow the only birds seen were 2 Raven doing some acrobatics over Great Hill and a Common Snipe near Round loaf.

Sightings were scarce in Lead mine Clough around lunchtime too, probably due to a nearby shooting party, 4 Crossbill flew out of the dead forest and headed towards Winter hill and a small party of Redwing were near the bomber memorial
