Lead mine clough area .

Morning walk with windy conditions , 5 bullfinch feeding in a silver birch tree ( 3m , 2f ) , 1 goldcrest , coal tit , great tit , small flocks of redwing , possible small flock of crossbill and thought i heard a flight call but not 100% sure , flushed a woodcock out of bracken on the woodland edge , small flocks of woodpigeon were passing through , a peregrine was hunting low over the moorland , several grey squirrel .
Anglezarke , single male brambling heard and seen in the same spot were a few were seen with chaffinch the other week also nuthatch and 2 grey squirrel.

Bill Aspin (via Twitter) has posted about a flock of 350 Crossbill at Lead Mine Clough today. Crikey!
