A lovely day for a wander around Anglezarke, with the highlight being an hour long Crossbill fest at Lead mine Clough, roughly 120 birds in total, including a flock of at least 80 that settled briefly in the dead forest before heading off towards the Holt's flat plantation, another flock of c30 birds turned up soon after and headed in the same direction, another party of 14 and several single birds were also seen.
Other sightings.
LMC. Kestrel. Fieldfare 10. Several Coal Tit. Chaffinch 5. Meadow Pipit 2.

Anglezarke moors. Red Grouse 7. Raven 2. Stonechat 3 in Dean Black Brook.

Yarrow Reservoir. Mallard 41. Cormorant. Goosander 2 females

Anglezarke Reservoir. Mallard 60. male Shoveler. Moorhen 2. Black headed Gull c100. Lesser black backed Gull 3. Song Thrush 2. Long tailed Tit. Nuthatch.

High Bullough Reservoir. Mallard 57. Tufted Duck 21.

Shoveler takes my score to 134.
