Great spot Gary, it could well have been the same ringtail seen at Hesketh OM East this morning, only a few miles as the crow flies.

No Hen Harrier between 11 and 12, presumably gone to Hesketh Outmarsh. Birds seen included Buzzard 2, Grey Heron, Pheasant 30+ - the gamekeeper was filling the seed bins - a nice mixed flock of Tree Sparrow, Goldfinch, Linnet and Reed Bunting, plenty of Gulls, Woodpigeon, Skylark and Starling out on the fields, and a few distant skeins of Pinkfeet.
