Eyes lane at dusk .
A calm clear night , went in hope of a hobby sighting and it looked set up to be an ideal night , as the light faded a flock of around 50 swallows were looking to go into roost they spent many minutes flying around at a good height and at times disapearing out of view , they eventually dropped down into the reedbeds and tall grasses ( some small groups leaving it late 9.50pm ) with no attack from any raptors , other sightings 2 buzzard , large corvid flock , several singing yellowhammer , 2 linnet , 2 mallard , reed bunting , blackbird ,
