Field trip recce .

Did an alternative route for the heskin area field trip this morning , started at wrennals lane and headed down the lane to knowles wood left through the wood and over the bridge which takes you up to half penny lane left down the lane up to eccleston delph then back down bannister green which takes you to the bridal way path or next one down is the track to heskin hall both ways you can end up at spring wood which takes you to the syd brook and back to wrennals lane ,it takes around 1 and a half hours , sightings :- Blue tit , great tit , lt tit , coal tit , goldfinch , chaffinch , treecreeper , robin , wren , dunnock , blackbird , song thrush , house sparrow , swallow , yellowhammer , kingfisher , woodpigeon , magpie , mallard , grey squirrel , small copper was the butterfly highlight .
