Anglezarke reservoir north end

Nice couple of hours birding seeing what i could find:-
Canada Goose 107, Buzzard over, GC Grebe (pair and juvenile), Oystercatcher, Lapwing 20+ (inc juveniles), Little Ringed Plover, Common Sandpiper (adult and juvenile), Grey Heron 4, Cormorant 2, LBB Gull 35, BH Gull 20+ (inc a few juveniles), Pied Wagtail 2 or 3 inc juvenile
Mammal:- Grey Squirrel, Gammon on the shore

Very similar for me today, did a walk round the ressy.

Many canada Goose, 2 buzzard over, 2 GC Grebe individually, 3+ Oystercatcher very vocal, Lapwing numerous at least 20 inc juvs, Little Ringed Plover a first for me in Chorley, Common Sandpiper adult only, Grey Heron 4, no cormorant seen, LBB and BHG "many", 2 or 3 pied wags, also 2 moorhen and single kingfisher. High Bullough 10 or so mallard inc juvs / eclipse, and 6 tufted, single nuthatch. Many grasshopper on the path edges around Kays Farm. Only mammals a couple of oiks swimming.

Slightly quieter today. Sightings:-
Canada Goose c100, Greylag Goose 10, Mallard 16, Moorhen 2 + 2 young, GC Grebe 4 + 1 young, Buzzard, Grey Heron 3, Lapwing c20, Common Sandpiper, BH Gull c20, Med Gull, LBB Gull 2, Pied Wagtail 2, several Swallow over
Butterflies:- Large White 5-10, Small White 5-10, GV White 2-5, Gatekeeper 2-5, Meadow Brown 2-5, Small Copper, Peacock 5-10
Dragonflies:- Common Hawker
