Croston/mawdesley moss .

Most of the birds seen tonight were on newly ploughed fields , 100+ lapwing , 80 stock dove , 100 corvids ( mainly rooks ) , 100+ gulls ( ibb , bh , herring common ) ,several starling , several reed bunting , several yellowhammer , 1 corn bunting , 7 skylark , 2 whitethroat , 1 blackcap , 3 buzzard , 12 goldfinch feeding thistles , 20 swift feeding low over the fields , even larger numbers of swallows feeding and perching on the ground , 3 pied wagtail , 2 linnet , a number of moths were feeding on burdock , 1 young rabbit , .
