Two streams near us have run dry. They were well stocked with sticklebacks but these will now be casualties with a knock on impact.

It is also reported that the High Cop pond near Top o’th’ Lane at Brindle has dried out for the first time in living memory (80+ years).

Maybe C&DNHS can get some positive publicity by highlighting concerns and the need to put water out for birds and mammals via The Chorley Guardian, Lancs Evening Post and the Lancs Evening Telegraph?
