5 swallow, heron and black headed gull on weir from #3, willow warbler and chiffchaff still singing. Highlight family comprising 2 parent grebe, one of which had two young on its back, the other parent went off and nicked a fish from under the herons beak and swam half the length of the lodge back to feed to the young

Four tufted ducks, moorhen, kingfisher, family of 2 coot + 3 young being fed by parents. 8 or 10 large basking carp on the surface. Grey wags on black brook, and linnet over.
