Belmont reservoir

Afternoon visit on the way home from work. The water level has dropped so there's quite a bit of exposed mud at the moment, well worth keeping an eye on.
Great crested Grebe 2 with 1 chick. Canada Goose 89. Greylag Goose 2. Cormorant. Oystercatcher 5. Lapwing 59 including 3 juveniles. Curlew overhead. Redshank. Common Sandpiper. Moorhen with one chick. Pied Wagtail 2. Reed Bunting.

Morning visit for 45 minutes.

Common Sandpiper 3 incl one youngish one
Curlew 1
Lapwing 45
Oystercatcher 2
Canada Goose 95
Greylag Goose 1
Barnacle Goose 1
Buzzard 1
Cormorant 2
Great Crested Grebe 3 incl one youngish on
Reed Bunting 2
BH Gull hundreds
