Croston/mawdesley moss .
Similar birds in similar areas to my last couple of visits , it was good to see several lapwing chicks nearly fully grown , the stock dove flock is still around with about 40 birds present , corn buntings up to double figures , reed buntings , linnets , 1 pied wagtail , 5 mistle thrush , several whitethroat , highlight of the visit was watching a young hare running towards me without a care in the world it passed by me within a couple of feet totally oblivious of me .
