Tincklers Fields Eccleston
It was nice to see House Martins back nesting at Anchorfields, 5 birds counted, difficult to see how many nests as they're nesting under the eaves of peoples houses. I could see 3 Sand Martins flying around the river. A Curlew was heard also Chiff Chaff, Blackcap, Oystercatcher, 5 Lapwings, 17 Canada Geese, 1 Coot, 2 Moorhen, 2 Yellowhammers, 5 Linnets, 1 Heron and 2 song Thrush. A Hobby was seen on the 16th flying around the fields near Anchorfields. Been away on holliday hence the late report! Hobby brings my Chorley list to 91.
