White Coppice- Great Hill- Wheelton moor

The star bird of the evening was a Hobby that treated us to a flypast near Coppice stile farm
Other sightings, male Wheatear at Great Hill. 2 Red Grouse and a Curlew on Wheelton moor. Good views of a Cuckoo near Heatherlea woods whilst another was calling from the direction of White Coppice. Several singing Skylark and a good number of Meadow Pipit.
At White Coppice a Dipper was on the Goit along with a pair of Grey Wagtail feeding a couple of youngsters.
