Whittle-le-woods cuckoo.

Post by flyingfox »

Yesterday was the first time that I've ever heard a Cuckoo at the back of my house (Lupin close)...

Awesome...

That's a good record David. It's nice to get one or two away from White Coppice.

Hi Neil,

Has there been any records of Cuckoos in this area before?

It could be the one that was seen on Buckshaw !!

It could be the one that was seen on Buckshaw, but it would be nice to think that there's more than one. A male and a female for starters! We've had records from Great Knowley in recent times, and that's only a few flaps of a Cuckoo's wings from Buckshaw or Whittle.
