Whittle bottoms .

Went in hope of a roding woodcock tonight but no luck ( ive seen them roding in the area many years ago ) ,plenty of common birds singing , several mallard over at dusk , gulls passing over , highlight was 7 whimbrel flying over heading west at 9.00pm .

Where do you class as Whittle Bottoms Gary please?

Its the area close to charnock richard services ( mill lane ) park up in the dip near the log piles , there is a public footpath off stocks lane ( heskin ) which follows the valley back to whittle bottoms .
