Early morning Cuckoo chase Brinscall-WC-Moors

Left house 04.20, along Well lane: Blackbird, Robin, S Thrush, Can Geese (over), Pheasant, Carrion Crow, Coal Tit, Cuckoo calling from S of Brinscall Woods, female burbling nearby (not seen), W Pigeon, Wren, M Pipit. Through woods to White Coppice: also Willow Warbler, Jay, Chiffchaff, Dunnock, B & Gt Tits, Nuthatch.
Around White Coppice, to Anglezarke Res & back to WC 05.20-06.50 hrs: Blackbird, Tree Creeper, Wren, W Warbler, Carrion Crow, Pheasant, Mallard, W Pigeon, Stock Doves, B,C,Gt & LT Tits, Song Thrush, Jay, Robin, Chaffinch. Grey Wags and 3 Dippers (inc Juv.) in the quarry/aqueduct area, Nuthatch, L Redpolls, Grey Heron, Cuckoo calling from W Cottage, then flew over going N towards WC from where it called again. Oystercatcher and BH Gulls in fields nearby, 6 Cormorant over, Magpie, Curlew. Possible Redstart near W Cottage, unsure.
Walked up Dean Black Brook (Dippers & G wags again), Mipits galore and Skylarks. 07.40 - Grasshopper Warbler reeling approx. 200m S of Drinkwaters, Cuckoo heard nearby then chased by 2 Mipits W down DBB. Red Grouse on moors.
Back to Brinscall, Cuckoo calling from Ratten Clough at top of Well lane 08.40, then saw pair Cuckoos fly up briefly from the trees and settle again, maybe the pair heard earlier.
