One of the advantages of a dawn chorus is you see lots of mammals too.Several rabbits in front of the new cafe, a roe deer near the river and the regular fox.
Birds heard / seen on the dawn chorus walk: blackcap, wood pigeon, Robin, song thrush, wren, chaffinch, chiff chaff, magpie, blackbird, crow, Gold crest, great tit, mistle thrush, gold finch, nuthatch, Canada geese, heron, male pheasant, whitethroat,
Flowers included; cuckooflower, dandelion, Herb Robert, Garlic mustard, creeping buttercup, meadow buttercup, ribwort plantain, white dead nettle, bluebells, Marsh marigold, lesser celandine, bugle, common daisy, cowslip, comfrey, wood anemone, red campion and bulrush
