Mawdesley Moss - Birds seen/heard - 6 Linnet, 22 Lapwing, 5 Yellowhammer (2 seen & 3 heard), 2 Corn Bunting heard, 4 Common Whitethroat, Woodpigeon, 4 Common Buzzard, Carrion Crow, Jackdaw, Pheasant, Chaffinch, 1 Swallow, 2 Pied Wagtail, 6 Wheatear including one very pale individual (m) and several Greenland types, scattered throughout the fields, 40 approx Black Headed Gulls, 2 Grey Partridge & 3 Shelduck.

Mammals - 1 Stoat

Lepidoptera - 8 Small Tortoishell, 6 Peacock, 26 Green Veined White and 4 Orange Tipped White butterflies.


Eyes Lane - 6 wheatear, 1 Pied Wagtail, 2 Mallard, Woodpigeon, Carrion Crow, 2 Linnet, 2 Common & 2 Lesser Whitethroat heard, 2 Yellowhammer heard.
