Eyes Lane Manure Heap

11.30am to 12.30am. Still Wheatears in double numbers, Pied and White Wagtail, good numbers of Skylarks, Reed Buntings 3, and my first sighting of Yellowhammer at Eyes Lane this year.No trace of the Yellow Wagtail. Buzzard and Raven over.

Sadly may be gone soon, diggers working on the heap this am.

Hi All,

Does the manure heap tend to be leveled off at this time of year then started to be heaped up again??

usually get ploughed in at some stage, seem to be in different places every year.
